Question
Answer

Can I upload supervision meetings with my co-supervisor?
Yes, meetings with your co-supervisor(s) can be documented providing that you indentify which supervsior(s) where present when completing your meeting report
Whose responsibility is it to record supervision meetings on the PGR-Web?
It is the responsibility of the student to record a minimum of 10 supervision meetings per year; however each meeting will also need to be signed off by one of your supervisors
Can any of my supervisors sign off my meetings?
No, only those present at the meeting can sign off the report
Can supervision meetings be added retrospectively?
Yes, supervision meetings can be added retrospectively. Likewise, they can also be completed during the meeting
My annual review is due but I am yet to record 10 supervision meetings. Is this likely to affect my progression?
As the annual review period for years 1, 2 and 3 opens prior to the completion of that year the answer in most instances would be no. This is providing that you are well on your way to achieving the minimum of 10 recorded supervision meetings for the 12 month period. However if you have sufficiently fewer recorded supervision meetings than would be expected (approximately 1 meeting per month) then it s likely that your progression will be stalled and monitored more closely
I am unable to upload a new supervision meeting, why might this be?
The most likely cause is that your previous meeting has not yet been signed off by your supervisor. Each supervision meeting must be completed before another can be added, thus I would ask that you clarify with your supervisor
One of my co-supervisors has been assigned to me. Who do I need to contact?
Please contact the PGR Admin team on life-sciences-pgrweb@nottingham.ac.uk to report this. You will need to state the full name of the supervisor to be added to your records
